Founded in 1976, Harster Greenhouses is a       7-acre greenhouse operation located in Dundas, Ontario, Canada

With a production of over 10 million plants per year, we are one of North America’s largest       producers of quality African violets.

We produce over 100 violet varieties on a year round basis, as well as a line of miniature violets and specialty items.

Specialization in African violets has enabled us to streamline our operations.  By investing in our research and development program, we are     constantly improving the quality and consistency of our products.

Our dedicated fleet of temperature controlled trucks allows us to service customers across     Canada and the United States…from the largest chain stores to the smallest independent growers.
