History of Campanula
Native to northern Europe, Campanula includes annual, biennial and perennial plants. The flowers can be bell or funnel shaped that form loose clusters. Most Campanula are available in blue, violet, pink and white colours.
"Campanula" comes from the latin word "campana" for 'bell,' a reference to the bell shaped flowers. It is also known by the names, 'Canterbury Bells,' and 'bellflower'. They are members of the Campanulaceae family that includes Lobelia and Balloon flower.
